We are looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Infrastructure team in Leavesden, Hertfordshire. You will work within the STL environmental consultancy team to ensure support to Skanska projects and external clients. The role will deliver on projects in Carbon and one other environmental discipline.
What you'll do:
- Support the Environment Consultancy Team Lead, and work within their own specialisms.
- Deliver high quality consultancy for given deliverables within projects.
- Maintain and increase teams’ knowledge of key environmental standards, policies and legislation.
- Deliver projects in Carbon and one other environmental discipline.
- Independently plan day-to-day activities.
- Represent the company at external meetings, engagements, and industry events.
- Work collaboratively with environmental and engineering specialists to improve the environmental performance on projects.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to self-manage.
- A relevant degree within Environmental Management, Sustainability, or equivalent.
- Sustainability knowledge, with experience in the field.
- Achieved or demonstrably working towards Chartered Environmental Status and membership of IEMA, IES or similar.
- Experience of environmental data management and analysis tools.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant environmental regulations and policies (preferred).
