We are looking for a Waste & Resources Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Thurrock, Essex. You will provide expert guidance on waste, materials and contaminated land requirements
What you\’ll do:
- Provide advice, support and assistance to all project personnel to enable them to manage their waste management and contaminated land responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal and external waste Duty of Care audits
- Develop and deliver targeted waste, materials, contaminated land and circular economy training
- Identify, communication and mitigate waste, materials and contaminated land risks
- Advise on, produce and approve Materials Management Plans, Sampling Plans, Resource Management Plans and Site Waste Management Plans
- Produce and interpret materials and waste classification reports in support of projects
What you\’ll bring to the role:
- Degree level in appropriate Waste, Sustainability or Environmental discipline
- Values driven and passionate about waste and resource management, the circular economy or contaminated land
- Demonstrable construction industry experience or relevant waste or contaminated land experience in a similar sector
- Chartered Waste & Resources Manager (MCIWM)
- CL:AIRE DoWCoP Qualified Person or working towards
- Able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across projects
