Role Summary

We have a Site Services Operative role on a key MoD contract near Watford at Northwood HQ, working in the Stores and Site Services Department on site.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of all areas in the Stores Complex, as well as the outward appearance and cleanliness of Northwood Headquarters as a whole.
  • Drive a variety of vehicles within the Stores pool, ranging from cars, vans and Powerflex Sweepers; complete first daily inspections on all vehicles.
  • Assist with gritting and snow clearing from roads, pathways and other hard landscaped areas as directed during adverse weather conditions.
  • Participate in standby/call‑out rota and be occasionally required to work outside normal hours.
  • Undertake general duties as directed by your Line Manager to support the Northwood Contract.

Requirements

  • Able to work full time on site at Northwood HQ.
  • Happy to work mainly outside; this is not an office job.
  • Full Clean Driver's licence.
  • Ability to maintain full MoD Security Clearance (required for the site).
  • Support for any required Tier 2 or higher National Security Vetting.
