Overview
Skanska, one of the worldβs leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society. We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join our Infrastructure team on the A47 in the Thickthorn project offices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and updating main project programme, performance indicators and progress records, deliver collaborative planning and short-term programmes and prepare programme submission documents.
- Work with project team and suppliers to produce and maintain collaborative look-ahead programmes that align with the main programme.
- Maintain programme and interpret outputs, then work with project team to identify and implement solutions, drive efficiencies, eliminating waste and reasons for delay.
Qualifications
- Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
- Understanding of various forms of construction documents, contracts and specifications.
- Experience in both design and construction phase planning ideally whilst working for a construction contractor.
