Join Skanska, a leading global project development and construction group, committed to building a better society through inclusive and responsible business practices. Skanska has partnered with National Highways for the A47 road improvement scheme, aimed at reducing congestion and enhancing safety. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join our infrastructure team. The role is primarily on-site, initially based at our A428 office in St Neots, then transferring to our A47 office in Thurrock.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief Engineering Surveyor and/or the Engineering Survey Manager across all technical work streams.
  • Develop and lead the engineering survey teams to meet project needs.
  • Ensure the project has an appropriate survey control network to meet construction requirements.
  • Set out works in accordance with contract requirements prior to work commencement.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying, or ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying with previous experience as a Senior Engineering Surveyor.
  • Extensive knowledge of survey instruments, software, and methods.
  • Full professional membership of CICES or an equivalent body.
  • Commercial acumen.
