You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag. The HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects – 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.

Responsibilities

  • General office duties including control of stationery/reprographic equipment
  • Maintenance of email distribution lists
  • Maintenance of Visitors Register and liaison with Site Security
  • Receive, log, and distribute/dispatch postal deliveries
  • Assist with production/collation of ad hoc reports/presentations
  • First contact on site - Meeting & Greeting Customers/Suppliers/Colleagues
  • Maintaining H&S standards and procedures
  • Reporting eventual faults or needs, following up
  • Carry out periodical H&S inspections and maintain accurate records
  • Organizing meetings / booking rooms, updating access lists
  • Parking permits (creating permits, updating lists, interacting with other compound car parks)
  • Procurement (evaluating needs, creating requisitions, supporting deliveries, dealing with receipts)

Qualifications

  • Competent IT skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Training will be given on bespoke software applications
  • Excellent communication skills / telephone manners
  • Professional and congenial approach
