Description and requirements

We are looking for a Project Director to join our Building Services Team located in London. You will effectively and professionally lead the delivery of large scale multi-disciplinary commercial projects, working alongside the Skanska JV building construction team, to ensure the delivery to time, commercial performance, governance and Skanska values are met during all phases of the project’s delivery.

You’ll:

  • Actively participate in the implementation of the Skanska Building Services Business Strategy for developing and delivering within the commercial market
  • Ensure that the commercial and contractual interests of the company are managed and always protected with responsibility for the revenue and income targets set as part of the project with full profit and loss responsibility.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the operating unit plan for which this role applies.
  • Lead, develop and monitor the strategy for enhancing our customer base in the sectors for which this role applies. This will include key account management for customers identified in the business plan.
  • We’re looking for:

  • Have a strong and experienced engineering background in the MEPH discipline.
  • High level of commercial acumen with a proven track record of working in preconstruction, project procurement and project execution phases for medium to large scale commercial projects.
  • Have implemented and used appropriate project controls to oversee successful major project delivery
  • Experience of identifying and implementing continuous improvement in a project environment
  • Experience of actively contributing to the development, analysis and implementation of business strategy and analysis
