You will be working in the Building Services OU based at The Broadway, where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes, and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the day-to-day servicing of the Electrical Infrastructure and the ability to carry out breakdown maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis within service level agreements.
- Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
- Be aware of Safe Systems of Work and its application, performed under the terms of the contract and to assist with carrying out sub-contractor inductions and putting people safely to work.
- Implement & comply with the procedures as detailed in the company’s Health & Safety Policies, Statutory obligations and in accordance with the Skanska IFE (Injury Free Environment).
Qualifications
- A Technical Background, either Mechanically or Electrically qualified, with strong experience in Building Services Engineering.
- Demonstrate understanding of statutory compliance HVAC and Water Treatment.
- Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or similar.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to demonstrate experience in a customer facing role.
