MEP Commercial Manager

Description and requirements Skanska, one of the world\’s leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society.We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team Building Services commercial team in our head office in Moorgate.Working as a Commercial Manager – MEP you will undertake all responsibilities that have a duty to act in the best commercial and financial interests of the business in delivering set projects and services to time and quality adding best value to the overall Skanska business whilst recognising our Corporate and Social Responsibilities. Promote HS&E standards and culture throughout the business and projects.What you\’ll do: Ensure that the obligations and responsibilities of the Project and other stakeholders are properly fulfilledMonitor and manage the scope, notices, terms and conditions of the ContractMonitor and manage the contract procedures, payments, variations together with contract entitlementsMonitor and manage dispute management proceduresEngage with health, safety, wellbeing and sustainability initiatives and activities.Collaborate with the team to deliver quality and efficient solutionsWhat you\’ll bring to the role: Experience of running MEP projects on large MEP projectsPrevious experience at QS level running significant multiple subcontract packages £5-10M+Good working knowledge of contract/commercial lawExperience with Design and Build forms of contractRelevant CSCS CardSMSTSDegree or equivalent in commercial related subjectEqual opportunities We thrive through embracing differences, whether they be social backgrounds, ethnicity, disability, gender identity or expression, age, religion, sexual orientation and any other protected characteristic – we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
