One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford – a complex, high‑profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services.
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
- Coordinate and take responsibility for all planned and reactive maintenance delivered by the engineering team for all equipment, plant, services and systems across the whole estate.
- Support the Facilities Management in the provision of a maintenance Service within the estate.
- Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
- Work safely on ELV/LV and generated electrical systems in accordance with all statutory electrical regulations and health and safety legislation and regulations as appointed Competent Person (LV) for SFS.
- Diagnose faults and coordinate repair within the PMS time periods for a variety of complex equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations or best practice guidance.
We are looking for:
- BTEC/HNC or City & Guilds Craft certificate or equivalent.
- A recognised apprenticeship.
- Certificate in 17th Edition IEE Regulation (Current).
- As defined by the latest edition of The Electrical Safety Code for Low Voltage Systems for Competent Person (LV).
- IOSH managing safely.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant trade experience.
- Good knowledge of H&S Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH.
- Basic computer skills.
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. Certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Individuals who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
