As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting while providing expert technical accounting support to operational teams. This role involves statutory accounts preparation, enhancing reporting processes, and ensuring full compliance with external audit requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Support the monthly financial reporting process, including reporting key figures to head office and ensuring Oracle to HFM uploads are completed and reconciled.
- Be the first point of contact for operational finance teams on technical accounting queries.
- Lead on Fixed Asset and IFRS 16 accounting, working closely with the FSD lease accountant.
- Assist with quarterly forecasting and reporting, ensuring deliverables are achieved within the required timescales.
- Support HFM as a super user, providing support and training to the finance team.
- Prepare statutory accounts for several legal entities and support the preparation of the Group’s main consolidated accounts.
- Continuously improve processes and reporting to manage risk and increase efficiency.
- Assist in ensuring the timely completion of external audits and provide technical accounting updates to the business.
- Lead supplementary processes such as ONS returns, headcount reporting, exchange rates, and share scheme accounting.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience in audit or financial reporting in a medium-large company.
- Strong technical knowledge of group consolidations and statutory reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Experience with HFM and Oracle is preferred.
