Overview

We are looking for an Associate Emerging Talent Manager to support the business in attracting and recruiting the next generation of talent. Working closely with Skanska recruiting managers and HR colleagues to ensure successful recruitment delivery of apprentice, intern and graduate requirements across the organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Use a variety of sourcing tools to attract and recruit the best talent for our emerging talent vacancies with clear focus on growing diversity in applications and hires.
  • Based on relevant data and market insights, design and drive social media campaigns; develop partnerships with recruitment marketing organisations, educational establishments, social enterprises, and other relevant partners.
  • Design and deliver social value and ‘Experience Skanska’ programmes (career insight days, work experience and T-level placements).
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from resource planning, advertising, shortlisting, assessment centre facilitation through to offer stage.
  • Implement assessment strategies to ensure best practice (fair, transparent, accessible, and fit for purpose) selection approach and process.
  • Provide support to the wider Emerging Talent team with organising and delivering events e.g. new starter inductions, annual Emerging Talent Conference and ad hoc projects.
  • Occasional travel to locations for Careers events.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Recruitment experience
  • Customer focus to ensure positive candidate and stakeholder experience
  • Able to manage own time to deliver on expected tasks and objectives
  • Competent to work with Microsoft Office and specialist software systems such as applicant tracking systems
  • Keen interest and enthusiasm for I&D, social value and working with young people, playing an important role in their early careers
  • Understanding of data to use appropriate metrics to support business needs
  • Knowledge of digital platforms used in early careers marketing, including social media and specialist platforms.
