You will be working in the Building Services team based in Midlothian Schools, Scotland. As the Facilities Assistant you will:

  • Undertake minor maintenance work such as lamp changing
  • Assist with all aspects of the upkeep of the grounds, roadways and car parks, litter picking
  • Fire & Emergency system testing
  • Carry out repairs to fixtures and fittings
  • Water Testing

We are looking for:

  • Experience of working within a school environment
  • Experience of working within a maintenance environment
  • Proven experience of working in a busy and demanding customer focused environment
  • Demonstrable maintenance skills such as home maintenance, etc
  • Ability to use office computer systems including e-mail, spreadsheets, and databases.

Please note that this role is part-time working 22 hours per week. This vacancy is classed as a Regulated Role by Disclosure Scotland.
