We are looking for a Community Engagement Officer to join our Infrastructure team in Norwich, A47.
What you\’ll do:
- Support the implementation of client’s agreed communications plan to standard, to timetable and to budget
- Support positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Contribute to the administration of effective internal and external communications plans
- Draft communications material e.g. advance warning of work, website updates, responses to customer questions, comments and complaints, public events and exhibitions
- Speak with confidence with customers, local residents and stakeholders, seeking responses from the wider team as necessary
What you\’ll bring to the role:
- Evidence of administrative and organisation skills
- Evidence of ability to engage and build relationships with a range of stakeholder types and at all levels
- Some knowledge and/or familiarity of construction of major infrastructure projects
- Evidence of good customer service skills
- Membership of or working towards qualifications with Chartered Institute of Public Relations, or equivalent professional body
