We form strong partnerships with clients and communities to deliver major infrastructure improvements like A14 improvement scheme, HS2 and Waterloo and Southwest station upgrade.
As part of our alliance with Anglian Water and the @one Alliance partnership, Skanska is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure team in Peterborough. The partnership's mission is to improve and expand the Anglian Water network to ensure an efficient water supply for all their customers.
You will:
- Manage and communicate all aspects of commercial and cost management to project team members, procurement and site teams.
- Ensure robust cost management is always undertaken including forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
- Work closely with the project and site teams so they understand the contractual arrangements to satisfy client and partner organisation requirements.
- Ensure that the @one Alliance contract is properly administered, and all relevant stakeholders and the client are kept informed of all commercial issues.
- Work collaboratively with the delivery team to identify, implement and monitor efficient plans throughout project lifecycle.
- Keep records maintained for financial information purposes, preparing accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
We’re looking for:
- Degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering/management/cost discipline.
- Extensive experience in managing costs.
- In depth knowledge of construction and safety.
- Demonstrates good leadership and customer service skills.
- Able and comfortable to challenge professionally.
