We are looking for a Water Systems Operative to join our Building Services team located in the Royal Derby Hospital. You will carry out a wide range of testing and monitoring of the site water systems including mechanical / plumbing repairs planned preventive maintenance and new work on the Royal Derby Hospital to a high standard. Working on own initiative alongside PPM / Zetasafe schedules.
What you\’ll do:
- To monitor and record water systems data using various platform, specially Zetasafe
- Solve problems where possible and make repairs to all water systems plant and equipment within specified time.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant and equipment within area of competence, complying with statutory and contractual obligations.
- Promote co-operation and versatility among the trades within his/her operational area and scope of works
What you\’ll bring to the role:
- Water system specific training (HTM / L8 etc) and relevant industry experience.
- Some knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH
