Skanska, one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our HS2 main works team in London.
What you'll do:
- CEMAR Superuser - Overseeing user access, contract setup, and resolution of system related issues.
- Commercial Intranet Admin - Maintaining and updating commercial information and resources to support project teams.
- Commercial Assurance Mailbox Management - Monitoring and responding to queries.
- Delegated Authority Register - Updating the register and associated letters to ensure compliance with governance requirements.
- Support for Subcontract Commercial Assurance - Assisting with reviews and reporting to maintain oversight of subcontractor performance and adherence to commercial standards.
- Supporting the Development of Commercial Processes specific to the SCS Project.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ideally degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Ability to develop arguments and challenge thought processes.
- An interest in commercial assurance and appreciation of its intentions and benefits.
- Appreciation for big data, the power and efficiencies that can be gained from it.
- Ideally, the candidate brings along experience of managing suppliers/subcontractors and possesses demonstrable experience or knowledge of the NEC3 suite of contracts.
