Are you a motivated and confident construction professional with strong commercial expertise? Skanska is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our commercial building project team in London. You will play a pivotal role in the commercial management and successful delivery of a medium to large-scale construction project valued at £100m.

What you’ll do:

  • Control project cost management and provide regular financial reports
  • Administer contract documents and manage change control processes timely
  • Monitor project costs and prepare accurate forecasts including CVRs
  • Manage subcontractor agreements, valuations, and payments
  • Support design change management aligned with project strategy
  • Maintain comprehensive records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Foster a motivated, inclusive, and respectful team environment
  • Develop team members through leadership and progression plans

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Strong experience in CVRs, reporting, and forecasting on large build projects (£30m+)
  • Proven ability managing multiple subcontract packages (£5-20m)
  • Working knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, Bespoke)
  • BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
  • Preferably ICES or RICS qualified or working towards accreditation
  • SMSTS qualified with relevant CSCS card
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and supply chain
  • Skilled in Excel and knowledgeable of NRM Rules, construction processes, legal contracts, and health & safety standards
