Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Multi‑Skilled Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, response and fault analysis of building operations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out day‑to‑day servicing of the electrical infrastructure and conduct breakdown maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response and fault analysis in line with service level agreements.
- Carry out fault‑finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical services, plant and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specifications.
- Apply Safe Systems of Work, perform sub‑contractor inductions and put people safely to work.
- Implement and comply with procedures detailed in the company’s Health & Safety Policies, statutory obligations and the Skanska IFE (Injury Free Environment).
Qualifications
- Technical background, either mechanically or electrically qualified, with strong experience in building services engineering.
- Demonstrated understanding of statutory compliance for HVAC and water treatment.
- Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a customer‑facing role.
