Mobile Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our Building Services team covering parts of Scotland.

Working as a Mobile Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for providing a service and maintenance service to clients, both planned and on a reactive basis.

WhatYou\’ll do:

• Carry out and complete planned maintenance tasks within desired timescales
• Set up and monitor and keep properly adjusted equipment, including daily checks.
• Provide basic supervision of subcontractors and keep informed of progress, discuss solutions
• Instruct and induct subcontractors to Skanska’s required standard by means of quality checking
• Be aware of and apply relevant health & safety practices and procedures, assess the risks associated with the work given.
• Be part of an on-call rota and respond to client needs out of hours.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Time served Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering qualifications at SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Must have a valid UK driving license.
• Someone who can work well alone.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety

This role is regulated work.
