Skanska Building Services are a leader in facilities management, trusted by top-tier clients across critical sectors, including Defence, Education, and Healthcare. Right now, we\’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to supervise maintenance and fault analysis of mechanical building operations.

What you\’ll do:

  • Review the health and status of critical building systems and report on site resilience.
  • Issue and manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract requirements.
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks as per contract specifications.
  • Handle additional requests and project tasks.
  • Deliver cost savings through identification and implementation of process efficiencies.
  • Manage subcontractors, including review of works delivered.
  • Manage team and individual health & safety processes as per Skanska standards.
  • Attend site in a timely manner as part of the site call-out rota.

What you\’ll need:

  • Minimum of Mechanical/Electrical City & Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Experience working in FM/building services environments.
  • Experience with BMS and critical building systems.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.
  • Experience managing or leading engineers and subcontractors.
