As the Head of Health and Wellbeing Risk Management, you will be responsible for managing Occupational health and wellbeing providers to minimize occupational health risks. This involves driving and implementing strategy across the UK business, engaging leadership teams, functional specialists, and collaborating with third-party suppliers, educational bodies, and communities.
You will be a transformational leader with a comprehensive understanding of organizational culture and its impact on health, wellbeing, and risk management resources and services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide transformational leadership, setting a clear vision and strategy for proactive occupational health and wellbeing management, including mental health.
- Ensure accountability for delivering the health and wellbeing aspects of the 2027 business plan.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with HR and other business units to achieve strategic goals.
- Identify and communicate significant organizational health risks and implement programs to manage and eliminate these risks.
- Expand occupational health focus from site operations to design and control of health risks.
Qualifications and experience:
- Knowledge and experience in mental health program development.
- Experience working in matrix or joint venture projects/organizations, especially in construction or safety-critical environments.
- Qualifications in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or Occupational Hygiene are preferred.
- Experience in developing and deploying national and strategic programs to effect cultural change.
- Data-driven and digitally proficient, with experience in commercial service management, procurement, and contract management.
