As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will become part of our Building team, delivering award‑winning public‑sector projects including Bath Spa University, the Royal London Hospital, and Bristol schools. In the private sector, we focus on commercial and mixed‑use buildings. Our London expertise has contributed to a portfolio featuring some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, such as The Gherkin and Heron Tower. Together, we are building a better society by shaping the future with innovation and purpose.
What you’ll do:
- Help minimise the costs of a project to ensure profitability and risk mitigation
- Build relationships and negotiate with trade contractors and client representatives
- Support the preparation and completion of site measurement and records, day work sheets, labour and plant returns
- Procure trade contract packages, including completing detailed tender analysis and preparation of tender and contract documents
- Assist with the procurement of sub‑contract packages
- Work within the projects commercial team and have responsibility in measuring and quantifying works for cost plan validation, completing interim and final account valuations
- Prepare contractual documents including preparing scopes and sub‑contract warranties
- Other commercial tasks depending on project needs
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Studying towards (in your final year) or having completed a Quantity Surveying degree accredited by the RICS. We will consider applications from other commercially focused or construction qualification backgrounds.
