Graduate Quantity Surveyor – 2026 – Doncaster

Over two years, as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with Cementation, you’ll be involved in the full life cycle of piling and foundation projects—from tendering to site delivery. You’ll develop your quantity surveying skills with hands-on experience, mentoring, and access to innovative digital tools, developing your geotechnical knowledge whilst experiencing civil engineering projects.

What you\’ll do:
- Help minimise the costs of a project to ensure profitability and risk mitigation
- Build relationships and negotiate with trade contractors and client representatives
- Support the preparation and completion of site measurement and records, day work sheets, labour and plant returns
- Procure trade contract packages, including completing detailed tender analysis and preparation of tender and contract documents
- Assist with the procurement of sub-contract packages
- Work within the projects commercial team and have responsibility in measuring and quantifying works for cost plan validation, completing interim and final account valuations
- Prepare contractual documents including preparing scopes and sub-contract warranties
- Other commercial tasks depending on project needs
What you\’ll bring to the role:
- Studying towards (in your final year) or having completed a Quantity Surveying degree accredited by the RICS. We will consider applications from other commercially focused or construction qualification backgrounds.
- Have excellent communications skills and attention to detail

- Commercially minded
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing new ways of thinking
- We would expect you to have a driving licence or work towards obtaining one within your first year or working with us
