Graduate Engineering Surveyor – 2026 Development Programme – UK Wide

Over two years, you’ll gain hands‑on experience, structured learning, and the support of mentors who care about your growth. You’ll develop the technical and interpersonal skills to help you succeed and make a lasting impact.
This role sits within our Infrastructure operating unit, supporting our projects in various locations across the UK. Our current projects include – the A428 upgrade between the Black Cat and Caxton Gibbet roundabouts, Network Rail’s Northwest & Central framework and London rail projects.
What you\’ll do:
- Assist in ensuring that the project have the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements
- Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence and under the instruction
- Share expert advice and guidance to the members of the engineering survey teams and other parts of the business related to engineering surveying and geospatial best practice
- Provide a topographical survey in preparation for engineering works on site, setting out for the works, reports and measures and final survey information
- Ensure that advances in technology are used to optimise operational efficiency and are cost efficient
- Actively engage with the Skanska Graduate Programme for professional development
What you\’ll bring to the role:
- Studying towards or completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering Surveying, Geospatial Engineering or a related discipline
- Ability to use survey instruments, software and working methods
- Ability to present and communicate engineering surveying data
- This role requires visits to sites across the UK. As such, we would expect you to have a driving licence or work towards obtaining one within your first year of working with us.
