We are looking for a Project Technical Lead to join our Infrastructure Energy team in Watford.

What you\’ll do:

  • Plan and provide design management execution models during the work winning and pre-mobilisation phase and performance oversight during execution phase.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Project technical execution plans such as Design / BIM / Survey / Temporary Works.
  • Support the development of the Energy Sector in developing strategies for delivering design obligations within the Sector.
  • Plan a resourcing strategy and build a delivery team with a technical management skill set to manage design with a focus on safe and efficient construction.
  • Work closely with the delivery and commercial teams to ensure best technical solutions are delivered in accordance with the customer requirements for time, quality and budget.
  • Undertake technical reviews of the contract documentation to ensure Skanska’s commercial position is protected.
  • Lead the technical team to ensure they are supported, and resources are adequately allocated to the works.

What you\’ll bring to the role:

  • Design and Technical Experience of design and Construction of Energy projects such as grid transmission or HVDC conversion or renewable energy or carbon capture projects
  • Experience of Leading and Managing teams
  • Experience as a Chartered Engineer
  • Leadership experience of multi-disciplinary teams by assigning clear accountabilities and authority.
