The Role
We operate as a single fully integrated team of English and US lawyers, working hand in hand with the English qualified associates in the London office and in close collaboration with Skadden’s market‑leading US capital markets practice.
Person Specification
We are looking for a US qualified capital markets associate with 2‑4 years’ post‑qualification experience, with a focus on equity capital markets. The ideal candidate will have significant experience advising European and emerging markets based issuers.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex Equity capital markets transactions, including Initial public offerings, placings, rights issues, and other equity offerings.
- Support complex equity financings in close collaboration with debt capital markets, banking, and M&A teams.
- Offer strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, governance, and market practices relevant to equity capital markets.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and develop client relationships, delivering clear, concise, and commercially focused legal advice.
- Collaborate with cross‑border teams to deliver exceptional client service throughout the transaction lifecycle.
