A well-established, friendly high street firm in Thornton is seeking a Conveyancing & Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking for a supportive, collaborative environment with genuine long-term prospects.
The firm is ideally looking for a strong conveyancer who is also willing to assist with private client matters. However, given current market conditions, candidates with a primary focus on conveyancing will be strongly considered.
About the Firm
- 3-partner practice with a collaborative “all hands on deck” culture
- Close-knit team of approximately 10 staff
- Supportive environment where colleagues actively assist one another
- Succession planning in place, with one partner gradually stepping back and another reducing to a 4-day week
- Expanding client base, with work increasingly coming from beyond Thornton and the FY8 area
The Role
- Handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Assisting with private client matters (including wills, probate, and LPAs) where required
- Providing a high level of client care and maintaining strong relationships
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (experience level open due to market conditions)
- Strong experience in residential conveyancing
- Some exposure to private client work is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
