The Opportunity
SK Professionals Ltd are delighted to be supporting a leading Legal 500 firm with the appointment of a Solicitor / Associate to join their established Insurance (Industrial Disease Claims) team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a specialist insurance practice, working alongside an experienced team on a varied caseload of industrial disease claims.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of industrial disease claims and will work closely with colleagues and clients to progress matters effectively and achieve the best possible outcomes.
The role will involve:
- Managing a caseload of industrial disease claims.
- Providing high-quality legal advice to clients.
- Conducting detailed case preparation and reviewing relevant evidence.
- Liaising with clients, insurers, experts and other parties.
- Working collaboratively within a specialist insurance team.
- Progressing claims efficiently and in line with client requirements.
- Contributing to the continued development of the team's client relationships and service.
About You
We are keen to hear from Solicitors or Associates with experience in industrial disease claims, or from candidates with a strong background in insurance litigation who are looking to develop their expertise in this area.
You will ideally have:
- Experience handling a caseload of contentious insurance claims.
- Strong analytical and case-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A commercial and client-focused approach.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in developing your career within insurance litigation.
