Are you an experienced Production Manager who thrives on the shop floor, enjoys developing people and knows how to get the best from a busy manufacturing operation?
Were recruiting for an established UK manufacturer looking for a practical, hands-on Production Manager to take ownership of day-to-day production performance.
This is a key leadership position where youll be highly visible across the factory, leading production teams, driving performance and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, to the required quality standards and on time.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manufacturing & Engineering Director, youll take responsibility for the day-to-day production operation, translating customer demand and production requirements into clear priorities for the factory.
Youll work closely with Production Control, Stores, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Packaging, Sales and Warehouse teams to maintain an efficient production flow and ensure customer commitments are achieved.
This isn't a desk-based management position. Were looking for someone who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, understands what's happening within production and can confidently lead people, resolve problems and drive improvement.
What Youll Be Doing
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operation.
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop production employees and supervisors.
- Translate production requirements into practical schedules, labour plans and daily priorities.
- Monitor output, productivity, quality, schedule adherence, WIP and overdue orders. xgikmsk
