We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Lead/Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take ownership of quality processes, support new product introduction, and drive continuous improvement across production.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality control teams to ensure products and processes meet internal standards, customer requirements and ISO quality management systems.
The Role
As Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring robust product and process quality across manufacturing operations. You will support APQP activities, new product introduction, validation processes and quality improvement initiatives while maintaining strong quality systems and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
- Develop and maintain quality documentation
- Conduct audits and inspections
