Take ownership of IT in a growing, hands-on environment. We are working with a well-established and expanding business in Willenhall looking for an IT Manager to take full responsibility for their IT infrastructure and systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, all-round role where you can make a real impact and shape the IT function. This isn't a purely strategic role; we are looking for someone who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in day-to-day technical operations.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the smooth running, development, and security of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring everything operates efficiently to support the wider business.

  • Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, networks, and systems
  • Overseeing servers, hardware, software, and cloud services
  • Ensuring system security, backups, and disaster recovery processes
  • Providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting issues
  • Managing IT projects, upgrades, and system implementations
  • Supporting and improving ERP/business systems
  • Liaising with external suppliers and service providers
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, and performance

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in an IT Manager / Infrastructure / Systems-focused role
  • Strong technical knowledge across:
    • Networks, servers, and IT infrastructure
    • Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Office 365, etc.)
    • Cybersecurity and data protection best practices
  • Experience managing or supporting ERP or business systems
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT operations
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
