The Role
As a
Commercial Account Handler , youll manage a portfolio of SME to mid-corporate clients, providing first-class service across a variety of commercial insurance products. Youll work closely with Account Executives and Underwriters to deliver the best cover and advice for each client.
Key Responsibilities: Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations.
Act as the main contact for client enquiries, ensuring prompt and professional service.
Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and bespoke cover.
Prepare and check policy documentation and endorsements for accuracy.
Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
Support the Account Executives in retaining and growing existing accounts.
About You
Minimum 2 years
commercial account handling .
Strong preference for property/commercial combined exposure.
Wider product knowledge (liabilities, fleet, D&O, PI, financial lines) beneficial
Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products (Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, Fleet, PI, etc.).
Confident communicator with excellent client relationship skills.
High attention to detail and organisational ability.
Proficient in
Acturis
and
Microsoft Office Suite .
Cert CII
qualification (or working towards) preferred.
Whats On Offer

£35,000
to £50,000
