We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Engineering Coordinator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering-related degree who enjoys organisation, problem-solving, data analysis, and supporting operational improvements behind the scenes. This is not a hands-on maintenance engineering role. Instead, the position will focus heavily on administration, planning, stock control, reporting, and supporting the Engineering Manager by taking ownership of day-to-day engineering coordination tasks. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, systems, planning, and processes, and is looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing and engineering operations.
The Role
- Supporting the Engineering Manager with day-to-day administrative and coordination duties
- Managing engineering-related documentation, spreadsheets, and records
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management for engineering parts and consumables
- Monitoring and updating maintenance schedules and engineering data
- Producing reports and analysing operational information
- Supporting purchasing and ordering processes for engineering materials and parts
- Maintaining accurate engineering and maintenance records
- Liaising with internal departments to support operational efficiency
- Helping improve systems, processes, and organisation across the department
- Supporting planning and scheduling activities within the engineering function
