We are recruiting for a reliable and professional 3.5T Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in Bedford. This role involves delivering goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a 3.5 tonne vehicle
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Load and unload goods safely (manual handling involved)
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Comply with road transport legislation and company procedures
- Keep vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 3 penalty points)
- Minimum 2 years previous experience driving 3.5T vehicles
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area
- Strong reliability and time management skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
