The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. We require one skilled HGV mechanic to work on our Volvo FH truck and trailer fleet based in Barry, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings, on a 40-hour basic week, plus overtime at time and a half. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on the experience and flexibility of the candidate.
Duties to include:
- Servicing
- MOT preparation
- Fault finding
- Repairs
- Ongoing maintenance
Candidates should have several years’ experience with commercial vehicles, be able to work as part of a team, and work in a safe manner complying with DVSA and HSE standards.
