We are looking for an experienced and passionate Property Manager to join our team and oversee a portfolio of high-end residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality property management services, building strong relationships with tenants and landlords, and ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standards. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage proactively a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all landlord and tenant obligations are met and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, delivering an exceptional level of service and building good relationships.
- Oversee property maintenance and repairs, working closely with contractors to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness, keeping all parties updated at all times.
- Carry out regular inspections and visits to properties when required.
- Undertake administrative tasks, keeping records and logs up to date.
- Deal with the end of tenancy deposit return and maintain good communication between landlord, tenant, and deposit scheme.
- Handle the renewal of tenancies.
- Address and resolve disputes or complaints, acting as a fair and impartial mediator.
- Stay updated on regulation and legislation, ensuring all properties comply with current laws such as EICRs, EPCs, Licences, etc.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 3 years of residential property management experience in London.
- Experience with overseas/international Landlords.
- ARLA Propertymark qualification desired or willing to carry out the qualification within the probation period.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service, good telephone manner, keeping a high standard at all times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build relationships.
- Strong organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in compliance and record-keeping.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving property management issues effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure, remain calm, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Persistent and tenacious.
- Team player.
