We are seeking an experienced Engineering and Projects leader to take ownership of a major UK manufacturing investment programme. This is a high-profile role leading the delivery of significant CAPEX projects across a multi-site manufacturing operation, with investment plans including new production lines, factory expansion and future acquisitions.

Reporting to the UK Operations Director, you will lead the strategic projects function with responsibility for an annual CAPEX portfolio of £16m–£25m. Working closely with UK and European leadership teams, you will oversee projects from concept through to commissioning, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget while supporting the long-term growth strategy of the business.

Alongside delivering a substantial programme of strategic investment, you will lead a small team of project professionals and help shape engineering standards, asset management and maintenance excellence across the UK manufacturing network. The role is heavily project-focused, with around 80–90% of your time dedicated to strategic CAPEX delivery.

We are seeking a senior engineering or projects leader with a proven track record of delivering major manufacturing investment programmes within high-speed liquid filling environments. Experience within dairy, drinks or comparable FMCG manufacturing is essential, together with strong knowledge of production line equipment, major OEM suppliers and the delivery of complex, multi-million-pound CAPEX projects. Previous leadership experience and the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, operations and senior management are equally important.
