We’re partnering with a growing premium chilled food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Technical Manager. This is a senior role leading the technical function across multiple sites during an exciting period of investment and expansion.

We’re looking for a proven Technical Manager or Senior Technical Leader from chilled food manufacturing, with strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and UK food safety legislation. You’ll be confident managing audits, customer relationships and regulatory bodies, and be an experienced people leader who can develop high-performing teams. A degree in Food Science or a related discipline is preferred.

In this role, you’ll lead and develop the Technical and QA teams across multiple sites, manage and improve food safety and quality systems, and ensure full traceability from raw materials through to finished products. You’ll play a key role in implementing technical systems and accreditations for a new manufacturing site, act as the main technical contact for customers and auditors, and support product launches, artwork approval and shelf-life validation. You’ll also drive continuous improvement across food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
