Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 15:45 £16.66 per hour Coventry The Role: Carry out inspection of components processed through the inspection department, collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure efficient and timely processing What will you be doing? * Inspection of parts where required in line with company policies, procedures and documentation such as engineering drawings, and inspection control plans. * Ability to use inspection equipment including callipers, micrometres, OGP, CMM (Aber link Software), Keyence Optical Measuring Machines and hardness testing. * Competent when undertaking traditional manual inspection. * Raise quarantine documentation where required. * Work with QE’s and Production Incident team to support product disposition. * Support Quality Clinic activities where required. * Interact with ERP System and data collection software such as Job shop and Visual FAI. * Work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operational teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality. What will you bring to the party? * Quality systems experience in ISO9001 / AS9100 * Experience of working within a manufacturing environment in essential. * Have served a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent level 3 qualification in inspection. * Have previous Computerised Measurement Solutions (CMS) experience is desirable. * Have the ability to read, use, understand and interpret all aspects of engineering drawings including GD&T * 3 years Aerospace Inspection experience What Happens Next?
