As a member of the Engineering Team, you will work as part of a team and be responsible for maintaining and repairing the manufacturing equipment. Responsible for onsite repairs, unforeseen breakdowns and conducting the preventative and day to day maintenance on a continuous process production plant. The ability to diagnose and communicate electrical and/or mechanical faults with machinery ensuring we achieve production company targets and objectives, promoting operational excellence at all times. Multi Skilled Engineers work a continental shift pattern on a rolling shift pattern, 12 hour shifts days / nightsWhat will you be doing? Responsible for supporting all engineering breakdowns, diagnosing faults as soon as possible and replacement of machine partsRectifying all hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical issuesEnhancing, repairing and maintaining all the Plant, Equipment and Services within the manufacturing facility as per the preventative maintenance schedule and updating the maintenance logAssisting with the installation and commission of new machinery and equipment with the support of specialist Tool Room EngineersOrder spares / consumables required to support the engineering activities that will be undertaken in house or by a contracted companyWork closely with Production, Tool Change and Tool Room teams to effectively achieve the required engineering outcomeWhat will you bring to the party? Level 3 NVQ or Equivalent in Electrical or Multi Skilled EngineeringProven working knowledge of plant maintenance and repairs including Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic and mechanical systemsAble to read and understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings17th Edition Wiring RegulationsWhat Happens Next?
