Junior Manufacturing Engineer 6 Month FTC £35,000 – £40,000 Days Monday – Friday (4.5 days) Redditch The Role: As a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring aerospace manufacturing processes are robust, efficient, and aligned with industry standards. You\’ll support a variety of tasks across production, quality, and process improvement, gaining valuable experience in an exciting and fast-paced environment. What will you be doing? * Assist in Industrial Validation / PPAP activities for customer projects: * Develop and maintain Process Flows, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Capability Studies * Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure process consistency * Support the Material Review Board (MRB) by: * Reviewing non-conforming parts and issuing dispositions * Drafting rework instructions for affected components * Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by enhancing assembly processes, documentation, and fixturing * Work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ideally EFACS * Read and interpret engineering drawings, with an understanding of machining processes * (Preferable) Familiarity with special processes such as anodising and non-destructive testing (NDT) What will you bring to the party? * Experience with PPAP and industrial validation processes * Working knowledge of ERP systems (EFACS highly preferred) * Hands-on exposure to a manufacturing or engineering environment * Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving What Happens Next?
