Electrical/Design Engineer – Leisure & Attractions (Roller Coasters)

Location: North West | Hybrid options available

My client is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in the safety, inspection, and optimisation of amusement rides and roller coasters. With a reputation for technical excellence and innovation, they support projects across the UK and internationally ensuring attractions meet the highest standards of safety and performance from concept to operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team working on some of the most exciting and technically complex leisure projects in the industry. The preferred candidate will have a lot of opportunity to travel internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and electrical testing on new and operational rides
  • Support the review and certification of attraction designs
  • Conduct dynamic analysis of ride systems, including g-force and track performance
  • Assist with feasibility studies and safety evaluations for ride modifications
  • Create detailed reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (essential)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and inspection processes
  • Experience with CAD software, testing tools, or simulation techniques
  • Passion for engineering within the leisure or amusement ride industry
