As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially driven Managing Quantity Surveyor who shares our ambition to deliver exceptional projects while helping to shape the future of our commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall commercial responsibility for a portfolio of projects, primarily supporting two key strategic clients alongside a number of smaller schemes.
  • Lead on the legal and contractual aspects of project delivery, including contract reviews, risk management, and identifying commercial opportunities.
  • Produce and present high-quality commercial reports, providing clear insights into project performance, risks, and financial position.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the commercial team, including overseeing Quantity Surveyors and recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing new commercial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and developing the commercial function, with the autonomy to make a lasting impact on how the department operates.
  • Manage and mentor Quantity Surveyors, Assistant Quantity Surveyors and commercial support staff.
  • Support the Commercial Director with business planning, forecasting and strategic commercial decisions.
