The Role
Working as part of a skilled engineering team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you will be responsible for ensuring production equipment is maintained to the highest standard, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports.
- Work closely with production teams to maximise plant availability.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in a manufacturing, heavy industrial or process environment.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Apprenticeship or recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- Experience maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Apprenticeship or recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Experience with fault finding on electrical systems, motors, drives, control panels and PLCs.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and carry out electrical maintenance safely.
