SJK Healthcare is urgently recruiting an experienced Endocrine Outpatients Nurse to support specialist endocrine clinics across NHS hospitals. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong experience in managing hormonal and metabolic conditions, providing patient education, and supporting consultant-led clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting consultant-led Endocrinology clinics
- Conducting clinical assessments & observations
- Managing patients with a range of endocrine conditions, including:
- Diabetes (Type 1 & 2)
- Thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules)
- Adrenal disorders (Addison’s, Cushing’s)
- Pituitary conditions
- Metabolic bone disease
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required)
- Minimum 1 year experience in Endocrinology, Diabetes, General Medicine, or related area
- Strong understanding of endocrine conditions and treatment pathways
- Confident with clinical assessments and patient education
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to work autonomously within busy outpatient settings
- You must be living in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
