Are you a compassionate, motivated Healthcare Assistant looking for weekend outpatient shifts in NHS hospital settings? We are urgently recruiting experienced HCAs to work across Mid West Wales.
Pay: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour
Shifts: NHS Hospitals Outpatient Departments, Weekends, 8 am - 6 pm
Areas required are:
- Aberystwyth
- Carmarthen
- Llanelli
- Haverfordwest
Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting and preparing patients for consultations
- Taking and recording observations (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations, SpO)
- Supporting minor procedures under nurse/clinician supervision
- Chaperoning during examinations
- Assisting with wound care preparation and dressing changes
- Completing patient documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment
- Providing excellent patient care and reassurance
- Supporting clinics such as general medicine, respiratory, orthopaedics, surgical, dermatology, pain management, and more
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 12 months HCA experience in a UK NHS hospital setting
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work confidently in busy outpatient departments
- Reliable, professional, and flexible
