SJK Healthcare is urgently seeking an experienced General Medicine Outpatients Nurse to support a range of medical clinics across NHS hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse with broad clinical experience who can confidently manage diverse patient caseloads within a busy outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting consultant-led General Medicine clinics
  • Completing clinical assessments and patient observations
  • Managing patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including:
  • Respiratory disorders
  • Cardiac issues
  • Endocrine conditions (e.g., diabetes)
  • Gastrointestinal problems
  • Renal conditions
  • Long-term chronic illness
  • Preparing patients for tests and minor procedures
  • Coordinating follow-up appointments, referrals, and investigations
  • Providing patient education and lifestyle advice
  • Telephone/virtual clinic support
  • Accurate documentation in NHS electronic systems
  • Working effectively with Consultants, HCAs, AHPs, and admin teams
  • Requirements

    • Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required)
    • Minimum 1 year experience in General Medicine, Acute Medical Unit, or similar
    • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
    • Experience in busy outpatient or ward settings
    • Excellent communication and organisation skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of an MDT
    • Living in the UK and having the right to work in the UK
