We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ENT Consultant to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The ENT Consultant will diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions, perform specialized procedures, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck
- Perform outpatient and inpatient ENT consultations
- Conduct medical and surgical procedures, including emergency ENT interventions
- Manage chronic ENT conditions such as sinusitis, hearing loss, voice disorders, and sleep apnea
- Evaluate and interpret diagnostic tests including audiometry, endoscopy, and imaging
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Supervise junior doctors, residents, and allied healthcare staff as required
- Participate in on-call duties and emergency services
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Adhere to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards
- Engage in continuous professional development and clinical audits
Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical degree
- 5 years NHS (UK) Hospital experience
- Completion of an accredited ENT
- Valid medical license to practice as an ENT Consultant
- Board certification or equivalent specialist registration
- Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
- Several years of post-qualification experience in ENT practice
- Experience in subspecialties such as Head
