Our client is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to work within NHS settings, supporting patients with compassion, dignity, and care.
Responsibilities
- Washing and dressing patients: Ensuring patients' personal hygiene and comfort.
- Monitoring vital signs: Keeping track of patients' vital signs and reporting any changes.
- Providing emotional support: Offering support and companionship to patients during their treatment.
- Facilitating communication: Assisting patients with communication with healthcare professionals and other staff.
- Maintaining a clean environment: Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of patient areas.
- Documenting care: Keeping accurate records of patient care and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams: Working alongside nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year paid care NHS (UK) hospital experience.
- Ability to assist with patient handling and mobility.
- Clear and compassionate communication skills.
- Reliability and teamwork skills.
- You must live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
